Immediately a repair window appears saying:
"Trying to repair DVD structure..Please wait!"

It then counts to 100% and gives an "unexpected error" message. The DVD plays fine but won't copy. The Nero DVD checker says the DVD is 100% okay. Zipped logfile is attached. Ideas, thoughts, or suggestion appreciated.

1. Ensure AI scanner is enabled in Anydvd

2.
Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!)

i. Right click the fox on your toolbar. Exit Anydvd
ii. Click start. Right click on "My computer"--->select "properties".
iii.Click on the 'Hardware' tab--->click the 'device manager' button.
iv. Open the dvd/cdrom branch---> right click on your optical drive
v. Click "properties".
vi. You should have a region tab. From there you can select a region.
vii. Select the region that matches the region on the disc
viii. Start Anydvd

3.
The Nero DVD checker says the DVD is 100% okay

Post a screenshot of this please

DVD region set to region 1.
AI is set to very fast.
None of these things helped.
Tried the new Beta version (6.1.9.5)and it didn't work either.

Is this in Clonedvd? What version?

You're the only person who didn't have a bad original disc reported by nero cd-dvd speed that is getting this problem.

I would try another drive, and try another disc.

Backed up Ratatouille R3 using AnyDVD 6196 and CloneDVD 2912. No problem at all.

Have come across the error message "Trying to repair DVD structure ..... please wait" before though but not on Ratatouille.

Happens when i have backed up a DVD with CloneDVD, then removed the original disk and inserted another origianl to be copied. When using the back button in cloneDVD, this message will appear just before the home screen (1st screen when initially loaded). CloneDVD still thinks it has the original disc in the drive and tries to repair it.

Dont think the above helps with the problem, but it was human error on my part causing clonedvd to try and repair the disc structure. OOPS

Long live Slysoft..

I'm not seeing anything terribly exciting.

Given that everyone else resolved their problems and that they can backup this disc without issue, I recommend trying another original disc or another optical drive/reader.
