Hi,

is it possible to rip HDDVDs and Blu-movies with your pc Blu-ray burner?

Has anyone tried it using Anydvd?

Blu-ray drives can't read HD DVD's and vice versa, you need either a combo drive or 1 of each to read the discs into your PC
 
Wasn't there a company that announced a Blu Ray burner that was able to read HD DVDs as well?
Was somewhere in the news but it's not available yet.....

Yes it's a combo drive
