I'm having problems with my Blu-ray drive/drivers

similar behavior with Casino Royale, long time listed of several thousand (yes, thousand) in the time remaining, any attempt to cancel results in lock up.

Latest LiteOn FW, latest Nvidia, latest PowerDVD, and latest AnyDVD.

Going to try uninstalling AnyDVD 6.1.9.3 and reinstall.

Check your filter drivers. Where is the drive connected (physically)?
Do you use 3rd party busmaster IDE/SATA drivers?

filter drivers?

Like Haali or DivX?

I previously ripped Superman Returns and some others, but may have installed matroska and/or DivX since then.

Physically the SATA for my BD is connected to SATA 5. Ripped movies before, but I will try to eliminate what is causing it a report back.

Edit: uninstalled Haali and Cinepak sound and it seems to be ripping more normally now. Not 20345:53 seconds to go...and aborting the Rip operates without crashing too!

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that's harmless.

UGH!

Uninstall CyberLink InstantBurn's packet writing software, and ensure clbstor no longer appears in your lower filters after rebooting. If you need that drag and drop functionality, use dvd-ram instead.

But if you can't figure out how to remove (or uninstall that program) that filter (or how to check your filters), do this:

i) Create a backup of your registry
ii) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)
iii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "clbstor". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Click "ok".
iv) Reboot
