I am running the current version, AnyStream Plus 1.3.5.0 (64 bit), and I’m getting the redline error message (Error. Could not write stream to the output file. Cannot continue with the download).

HELP! Is there a simple solution like changing my destination file, ect...... or is the god of karma doing me harma for me maxing out my downloads?

Just an important side note. With my last forum post for HELP, I was sent code links that were not from RedFox central. Do you have problems with people posting malicious code? Should I abstain from hitting those links for the quick fix?

Thanks for all your efforts.....All The Best. Phil

What exactly do you mean? I visited your last post and I could only see one link there, and that was just a link to another post in this forum.
Or did you get any links via PN?

hi it means that your hard drive is maybe full, so no space to save the file so the download cannot continue

Yeah, I think that's usually the problem...

Although I just got that message this time because my external USB Hard Drive temporarily lost its connection to my laptop.

Thankfully, power-cycling and re-connecting the drive got my AS downloads back on track.

Interestingly, I noticed that AS stopped all downloads and paused all the provider queues once it found that error.

I guess that's to avoid trying to rip and failing on all the other downloads in the queue.

Nice!

Thanks guys. It was a simple as you say. My destination hard drive was almost full. Thanks for the responses. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Cheers

As for my suspicion of suspicious malicious links, I didn't mean to offend. I'm just a bit paranoid and error on the side of caution. Thanks for your understanding. Just a newbie on the forum. Cheers

Glad to hear it is working now. About the links, you did not offend anyone. I only tried to understand what links you mean since I could find any.

Since it seems unanimous that space is likely to be the issue maybe the devs can add a note to that effect?

"(Error. Could not write stream to the output file. Cannot continue with the download. Check disk space.)."

I think checking your disk space before you download is not such a hard chore. If you only have minimal disk space, you know to check it. And by the way, it does tell you but you have to look.
