And what's the point to this post? These aren't the Nero burning rom forums, you're not saying what the problem is, and anydvd doesn't burn to blank disc. If you're having burning problems, it's not an anydvd problem.

But if I have to guess, this is your main problem.

Disc Manufacturer ID: CMC.MAG.
Media type ID: M01

Stop using the cheapest crappiest blanks that exist.

No it's just strange, I am using a DVD+R blank disk, Now it doesn't play on my DVD player, but it does play on the PS4, Strange, huh? I just wanted to let you know it maybe a future problem, that's all.

Dvd+r blank means nothing. It's the brand that matters. Now as to the playback problem. That comes down to the cheap crappy blanks again. Some drives are pickier than others when it comes to playing self-made discs.

Either way there's nothing for anydvd to fix, as anydvd doesn't burn to blank disc. Your problem is with Nero and the blank discs you use. Not anydvd

Yes, the issue of playback problems is probably down the CMC junk discs. CMC is notorious for playback compatibility problems. They may be recognized as inserted in one device but not in another. Try Verbatim DataLife Plus discs you will only find online. NOT the Verbatim Life Series you find in brick and mortar stores, as those are the CMC junk. Or try "genuine" Taiyo Yuden which, again, you will find only online.

@dbminter Verbatim DataLife plus nowadays isn't guaranteed good stuff anymore either. CMC bought brand and IP.

This has 3 possible outcomes

- CMC quality goes up (highly doubtful)
- Verbatim quality stays the same (possible but slight doubt)
- Verbatim quality will eventually go down the drain to CMC level (probable)

My money's on nr 3.

 then what ones should we get? This does play back on PS4, but it's very grainy.

That's the million dollar question isn't it? You havent specified the brand you were using though? Also video quality (grainy) has nothing to do at all with the type of blanks you use. Thats down to the level of video compression you did to have (dual layer) content fit on the (single layer) disc.

O I see. I'm using Memorex DVD+R from walmart :( sorry I didn't know, I didn't know. I don't use this much, only when I know everyone's going to pass it around, and I don't want the original getting trashed. My stuff is a bit outdated (dvd shrink and Nero 6)

Nobody knows everything and you're never too old to learn. Go online and order yourself a batch of what was mentioned above.

Verbatim DVD+R DataLife Plus. With a little luck you'll get decent stuff. DO NOT visit your average brick and mortar store and pick up 'verbatim life series'. That's the same CMC crap. Look for a small logo 'AZO DYE', if that's on it it should be good. If you're not sure, post a link or your country and we'll find you one.

Oh and drop that Nero crap, use CloneDVD2 or Imgburn like I do. I use Imgburn for everything.

Actually, to be honest, the moment I learned CMC bought both TY and Verbatim, I expected CMC to cease production of the quality media. But, they still do make it... for now...

CMC quality will never go up.

That's what i expected, and still may happen. Just because they perhaps choose to keep the same VERBAT-IMe-00 MID, doesn't mean they couldn't have decreased actual disc quality

When CMC first bought TY, I expected them to change the dye process to their cheaper ones, but keep the TY MID's on them to trick people.

That's precisely what I eventually expect them to do to the Verbatim MID's
