Has anyone downloaded this with normal picture quality. When I download it, it has a green hue to the video.

If you downloaded a version in HDR, it's likely that your monitor and or playback program can't interpret/display the HDR metadata. HDR can be finicky and desktop playback can be difficult.

It's the Dolby Vision HDR version. It looked the same when I played on my PC but when I streamed it to my TV that can process Dolby Vision the colors looked fine.

Maybe try another player? Like VLC or MPC-HC and so on.

also the dolby vision version wont work on my tv for some reason and YES MY TV Supports Dolby Vision

This form of Dolby Vision is unlike the type of Dolby Vision you'll find on a 4K Blu-Ray disc. The format is very finicky and only plays on certain players. And I do not know what those players are.

Have you checked the mediainfo to make sure the DV data is there? I don't know why it wouldn't be, but just to make sure.

MediaInfo shows this for the video stream without a separate DV stream.

Normally for my 4K UHD with DV encodes I use they have a normal HDR10 stream and a separate DV stream (normally 1080p) so this specific format seems to not be backward compatible with normal HDR playback?

It is not. DV only. And only certain players. Though there should be a way for the devs to implement switching between HDR10 4K and DV 4K to allow you to download the one you need.

Try downloading 'No Sudden Moves' it has Dolby Vision and not Dolby Atmos. Space Jam A New Legacy, Wonder Woman 1984 And the Matrix series all have Dolby Vision and Atmos and they both appear to be missing a color. Most movies on HBOMax have both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

I've been trying to find another NONE Dolby Atmos movie, no luck so far.

They're not "missing a color". That is how streaming DV is encoded.

I have owned 2 4k tvs for 6 years now, and I only streamed 4k and just recently started to buy 4k movies. From what I understand, when he says missing color, I think he means washed out.....?

I'm no expert on 4k, but I think it's safe to say that without HDR or DV 4k format is pretty much worthless? I mean, sure you do get extra detail but the main selling point over 1080p is HDR

I use Infuse video player on Apple TV and as I said above, streaming it to my TV with Dolby Vision processing it looked normal. My understanding is that there are multiple Dolby profiles and there is a fee involved for processing them which is why most software like VLC doesn't work with it.

With HDR10, you'd be correct. Streaming DV is tinted pink and green.
Funny, I always wondered that about Prime streams. I have 75 inch Samsung HDR tv but on many of these 4k streams I notice this greenish pink color you described....are prime streams DV, or is my set screwed up? I never calibrated it btw, but I adjusted a few settings manually, and I always watch it on a "movie" setting.

This does not have Dolby Vision.

This does not have Dolby Vision.

Well, the web and the app say it does..... so they lied......

or AS didn't use DV without DA? Or HBO didn't send it?

Well, that shot my theory all to hell.....

I just tried this movie on my Roku TV and it displays the DV logo.
