Hey all is it possible in AnyDVD to have a CLI to the dvd ripper to ISO window instead of right-clicking the icon and selecting it that way?

Hum well that's interesting. The only .exe files I have in my anydvd directory are:

AddSpeedMenuSkin.exe
ADvdDiscHlp64.exe
AnyDVD.exe
AndDVDTray.exe
AnyDVD-uninst.exe
DevCon.exe
ExecuteWithUAC.exe
HelpLauncher.exe
RegAnyDVD.exe
setacl.exe
SetDisplyFreqency.exe
StopPasskey.exe

There's currently no .exe to run the AnyDVD ripper if that's what you're looking for.

Be a great thing to have though! :=)

Oh, ok.

You're setting up some kind of shortcut to invoke the Ripper from the taskbar (or maybe desktop).

Is that what @David1999 is trying to do?

From post #3, I thought he was looking for an .exe that would run the Ripper when executed.

My bad!

Wow..... Never thought to look at the start menu RedFox menu...

Looks like the CLI for the AnyDVD Image Ripper would be:

Code:
AnyDVD.exe -iso

for the AnyDVD Ripper window.

And while I am at it the CLI for the AnyDVD Ripper is

Code:
AnyDVDtray.exe -r

Thanks testiles

No, thank you guys! Never knew you could kick off the Ripper with a -iso option ...

Can you pass any parameters to the Ripper this way, like source drive and destination folder?

I'd sure like to kick it off from a .bat file and specify those items.

No. It only opens the ui in that mode.

Ugh! Thanks.

Be so cool if I could pass it source and destination parameters. And one more to determine whether to keep protection.

Though not mandatory, cherry on top would be to even get it to self-launch. :)

CloneDVD is an interesting alternative. But limited as far as what I need to do.

Afaik, I can't use it to make Blu-Ray and UHD .iso's. And even if I could, I couldn't use it to make protected ones, and that's what I really need.

I already have a .bat file that creates unprotected .iso's using ImgBurn...
