Having no luck ripping Fast and Furious BD. I've tried three different copies but all fail somewhere during the rip.

Possibly a batch/mastering error. But if someone could have a look at the log file would be much appreciated.

I am not able to read a log file, but could you tell if you use AnyDVD to create the copy or another program?
If you use AnyDVD, is the error something with Read error on sector x? Some discs have that, this is not AnyDVD. Than you only can try another disc of the same movie.

If it is something else, wait for a dev to answer.

At first glance looks like a bad (authored) discs. AnyDVD tells you in the status window there's read errors in the disc, and there are.

That's a pretty old movie so chances of this being a protection issue are close to zero.

Well I was dumb. I can read the zip, I just forgot about it since I never did it.
WARNING: Read errors on disc!

Yes, unfortunately, it looks like just read errors and it's pretty old so would agree that unlikely to be a protection issue.

But I wondered if there was something more to it, since I had the same problem on three separate copies. Which, I guess, means maybe a mastering or batch issue...?

Yes, this could be possible.
Also, sometimes the disc appears to be perfectly fine and clean bit still, I get read errors. This is a bit annoying, but seems to be normal.

Yes, I've had similar, in the past.
But this time it's three separate discs and all clean with no scratches or marks.

i bought a collection with the first 8 movies (german edition which contains english aswell) but till yet i didnt backed up them with anydvd.
i'll start this today and report you whats the result of this @SSoft88

That would be great. Thanks.
So far, this is only one out of series that has given me trouble. I'm guessing the German release will be different (better ;)).

so i finished ripping them all to .iso files
without any errors or problems.
my bds were bought used online. so the condition was still good but not like the same as my own new purchased one.

if you want to get the image file just hit me up via pm.

Thanks very much for confirming. I'm guessing no mastering/pressing errors on the German release!
