hello

i tried to play (and copy) a 4k disc

anydvd hd doesn't decrypt it


Total size: 31670976 sectors (61857 MBytes)
Video Blu-ray label: SHOWGIRLS
Media is AACS protected!
AACS MKB version 76
Drive supports bus encryption!
Disc wants bus encryption!
couldn't retrieve AGID (bus encryption)!


can you help me please?

pratically i have to buy a new device.

in the list there are no external devices
 
You would have to buy an additional enclosure. There are no combinations available off-the-shelf you can buy.

You have to buy either:

ICY BOX IB-550StU3S

or

OWC Mercury Pro OWCMR3UKIT

My buddy @kufo recommends the OWC.

Yes.

You need a LG BH16NS55 or an ASUS BW-16D1HT plus one of these enclosures.

Be aware that some people complain about the cover mechanism of the Icy box that is going to be pushed open by the drive tray. The OWC doesn't have such cover.

i have to buy a new device gently firmware (only internal) + this enclosure (to have an external device compatible with anydvd hd)

Correct.

You own a slim drive that doesn't work with AnyDVD for UHDs. You need one of these full size drives plus an enclosure.

Indeed, I slightly mod it by inserting a 1mm x 100mm x 100mm thermal pad between the drive and shelf where it rests, and using washers with mounting screws
