Hello,
is it possible to save television live streams and from media libraries from a browser/URL?
Thanks in advance!

It is possible to get the video URLs, but I don't know if you can download a livestream since it is endless. So I assume you only can grab a part of it.

But I don't think it is something for the AnyStream section.

It isn't. Moved. Not an AnyStream issue.

Can you specify your goal?

When you only want to download a video, there are plenty downloaders and browser extensions.

When you only want to get the URL, you have to use a program or extension where you can see the URL (I use "Video Download Helper" for Chrome and Firefox) or you might be able to find it somewhere in Dev Tools inside the browser, but I don't know if or how this will work.

ok, my main point is "from media libraries", to have the media library URL as input, und get a selection e.g. like from netflix - only a a pious wish?

Just open the video from the media librarie in your browser.
If you use an extension, you just click on it an choose what to download (like downloadables in AnyStream).
If you use a downloader, you just have to copy and paste the url into it. It may let you choose the quality and then you can download it.

still I've to be more precise: I'd like to give a "top level URL", e.g.
Code:
 https://tvthek.orf.at/
and get an overview of all the available streams for download.
(For downloads of complete seasons there's another feature request.

In Germany there's a program which works only for German TV stations, and
only if the 'Mediathek' offers mp4 versions, but it doesn't work for streams.
(but this 'MediathekView' has a batch mode, and complete seasons options :^)

Now I understand. You don't speak about the download itself, you want to get the overview.
I know MedieathekView, but I don't know how it works (I never used it).
At the moment I don't know something to help you in this matter.

Wasn't the original question about saving a steamed programme? Surely the whole point of a stream is there is nothing in to save you watch it as it "streams", you are not saving anything to a local device
