List of UHDs currently UN-supported in AnyDVD

anyway for now I will jsut say that WB struck again and my:
US The Dark Knight is a no go
US Amazon GOT S4D2 and S4D4 are no goes

not a fan of the new scanner method
i had log files ready and i don't have the discs ready here right now, kind of a pain to have to do this all at once now

Hey, Babirusa!

Really?

I'm not understanding, how do you have current logfiles without either the disc or the .iso's?

You need one or the other to even create a logfile, no?

The Scanner just removes the need to create the logfile yourself.

It does it for you....

The List is re-posted.

Titles with Unknown Status leave the List end-of-day Tuesday, 1/19.

After scanning add an option to auto-open log file and remove the password. Not gonna post a file which I cannot view content.

Only more problematic for those with unsupported issues with those log file posting.

Thanks for the update, mcgoon76.

The title will move from the Unknown Status section back onto the List on next posting.

Blazkowicz although placed in the AnyDVD logfile folder, these are not logfiles but Scanner reports.

The contain the exact same information as what's put in the clipboard by the Scanner for Forum posting (with the addition of Forum user name and Date in a header), but are in a format that can be read by my programs to automatically update the record for your titles.

It's set up to prevent alteration as any changes would render the file unusable by the program.

I mean that I already made the logfiles earlier not knowing there was this new thing here and had some of the discs packed away at the moment and it seems like now you have to be ready to post here every time you get a new disc, right that very moment.

Old logs don't help anyone to know if the disc is truly supported or not. I made the scanner so that people can post up to date information about their discs.

No not really.

I think most people make .iso backups of their unsupported discs. Then they post using the .iso when they're ready.

Your situation is not a good one though because as you know support for discs can be, and is, added at any time. So a logfile made today may be completely outdated even as early as tomorrow.

Also, if you have the discs packed away and no .iso backup available, how will you check the disc for when it's supported???

One final point, Babirusa, even the Parser tool would not accept old logfiles (and for good reason).

So the new process hasn't changed anything in that regard.

Ah, these versions of Tenet and The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey are working now. That's great.

They'll be removed next post.

Thanks, kitaT.

Enjoy!

Funny! Every other 4K Disc in this 8 Disc set works except #1.

Any chance this can be addressed in the next update?

Added, WellisKelly.

I see that this is the same title as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, with "Sorcerer" being the US title.

I've kept both variations on the List -- to avoid confusion for those checking their particular version.

Any chance this can be addressed in the next update?

We're all just AnyDVD users here as you are, WellisKelly, so we have no idea when titles will get supported.

Only the developers know that.

Also, as SamuriHL mentioned, UHD support doesn't come in releases like Blu-Ray support does, if that's what you mean by the next update.

It happens when keys are added to the OPD and it seems that can happen at any time -- not in scheduled updates.

You'll have to just keep checking your title. Time to support varies widely.

I check mine at least every other day...

The List has been re-posted.
