Well I am back finally. And was attempting to rip a DVD movie only but found out not possible with current RedFox software that I could find. So I went looking and was surprised to find there was simple solution available as long as I had RedFox installed and that was with VLC. I have it installed and used from time to time but didn't figure I could use it for that feature so no I am going to experiment with it. And I am posting that link for anyone else interested since VLC is free.

I also using CloneDVD to find what chapter and title to pick to convert over as well. So far have to experiment to get the right video.

You could also use DVD Shrink (after you ripped the DVD into a folder with AnyDVD,) and then use Shrink to make a ISO or DVD compliant folder.

I thought about that but trying to just rip the movie itself is a pain and was trying to make it not so hard to just do that.

Posting an AnyDVD log file from the disc in question might be helpful for the devs so they can correct any possible decryption problems.

I don't think AnyDVD does that nor does CloneDVD.

You would put the original in the drive and do all your normal selections. CloneDVD will copy to the temporary location as usual. When done with the reading, it will open the drive and want you to place the blank disc. It will then write to the blank from the temporary location.
