As soon as I insert the Blu Ray and Launch AnyDVDHD I get the following popup (see attachment), then the status window has this message:

AnyDVD HD 8.3.8.3, BDPHash.bin 19-08-02 - is not working for Bluray or DVD
 
AnyDVD tries to scan John Wick 3 but won't stop scanning. Tried to turn off computer but it won't turn off, had to manually force it to shut down. Have tried 3 times and still nothing. Any one else have this issue and is there a fix?
 
I am having the same issue as Ghildebr.

Not sure if this is OK to mention here or not, but MakeMKV v1.14.5 is able to read it OK.

Same here, of course there's no telling which of the many entries is the correct one on the MakeMKV screen until we get an update to AnyDVD to tell us :)

For the record, AnyDVDHD 8.3.8.3 beta with today's September 10 date doesn't work with this disk. Yet.
 
yep same error here running 8.3.8.0, updated to beta 8.3.8.3 and still getting same error
 
I'm getting same error. can't read disk. It first asked me to assign region. then just failed to read the disk.
 
Had the same problem,,tried the shorter 2 minute less version and it worked.....running 8.3.8.3
 
And I'm getting this result when 8.3.8.3 is running. I'm unable to even access log file option. I'm getting the same "error" pop up as shown in first post above when blu-ray is loaded.
