I been notice for quite some time now that when using IE or Chrome that just even going to the site forum the lag time is long like 5-10 secs but if I load with FireFox is instantaneous load when I try to access the site form work. So are Corporations using some kinda filter or throttling to prevent someone from going to the site or the site in general?

I have no problem with this site while using Chrome.

I'm having this same issue with Chrome for Android. It takes me like 3 minutes to get to a thread after clicking it. Then it might load or throw me back to the main forums menu as it's super laggy. The dvd fab forum works fine, no lag and comes right up.

My normal browser is FireFox. So I thought I'd try IE.

Win 10, build 1809 Pro, and no lag.

If anything IE was a bit more responsive than FF.

For giggles I tried Edge. There was a noticeable but slight slowdown when loading pages.

I hope that what the OP stated isn't going on.
Time will tell.

This has been going on for more then few years and I noticed this since they stopped using FireFox after which IE and Chrome Browsers seem to make it load slower then at home when using the same Browser IE or Chrome the load is instantaneous just like in Firefox but do this from work and you see there is something slowing it down and it's not just a perception I see it happening.

Another side note:
I am using Windows Defender at home but at work they use Norton. But I do recall in the past there even with Norton Firefox had no lag in loading.

I am talking from work or any institutions you work at not from home that the lag shows up.

We can't help you.
You'll have to make an appointment with your employer/boss to discuss the matter.

It's probably your worksite firewall.

If I installed Redfox at my worksite and used it there my company would fire me. Even if I was caught just going to the redfox forum, it would be grounds for dismissal. I'm surprised that you haven't been approached by your companies security people, yet. I have found this to be true for small companies too.

So you complain about the forum when the problem is caused by your work's connectivity. *SMH*
And here we go again did I say the site was the problem. Sounds like people read what they want to read rather then what was said. The reply here so far didn't nothing to add insight to what I was asking. And to Jamie most companies or institutions don't let you install software that is blocked already from the start-add to which they have sites Porn sites and illegal sites blocked from the start so that is a non-starter already. Why would the security come asking nothing was installed or hacked. Your watching to many Jason Bourne movies or Mission Impossible movies.
