Does Flux Player defeat Anydvd?

I have found both hard DVDs and Online downloads (paid for & stored on my PC) from a site that uses Flux
or Fluxplayer defeats AnyDVD. When I load either the hard disc or stored image they will be processed by Anydvd but the product is often un-useable with many, many partial images created of only parts of the original movie. On my PC the actual file will be in this format: Some_Movie_(Some_Movie)_NTSC. With each movie file will be a another separate file named - Some_Movie_(Some_Movie)_NTSC.fluxDVD.fmd .
The movie file will be the expected size, the .fmd file only 1Kb. AnyDVD is paid for, not trial version.

The burner/converter I'm using is (paid for & updated) iSkysoft iMedia Converter Deluxe 10.2.6 .
However, even trying to play the files directly via VLC, say will fail to give usable image file.
Defeating the PC stored image matters most since some movies are no longer available any other way
and my stored copy is all to be had. PC runs Win 10. Does Flux Player defeat AnyDVD ?

If the format is anything other than Audio CD, DVD, HD-DVD or Blu-ray standards, I'm sure AnyDVD HD wont work with it.

If possible, try and post a logfile from a problematic Flux DVD.

Thank you for your fast reply! But isn't that what AnyDVD is for? To defeat copy protection? Fluxplayer is a known copy protection program .
So shouldn't AnyDVD be stripping that protection and generating a usable image for burning? It certainly does with other copy-protected
files I've run through it. The PC stored files will only run properly under the Fluxplayer program but hard disc ones run on any player.
Yet, AnyDVD will not give useable image of those either for copying on my PC.

And again, not arguing with you, I appreciate you taking the time to respond and welcome any other replies too.

AnyDVD is made for discs that follow the DVD, Bluray, DVD-HD specs (bup, vob, ifo, m2ts, etc). What format are these files in? What type of files are on the disc?

The Windows property info of the pc stored file says, ".fluxDVD" Flux Media file. Opening it with only VLC I am hearing fine audio but no video. VLC names the file as, "VTS_01_0.XVO" quote. I think it's playing the audio "loop" from the title screen over and over. That's all. Same sounds loop no matter what title is opened this way, BTW. Windows Media Player warns file type .fluxDVD unknown but play brief audio clip only just like VLC.

Loading a disc in the burner of the PC shows (in explorer) the usual AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS folders. Inside the video folder, it shows the usual BUP, IFO, and VOB files. The largest file is titled, "VTS_01_0" as you might expect. And they play fine(!) under VLC. AND,.. it appears I was wrong about the discs being protected. At least, that's something! This is the read-out from AnyDVD:

Summary for drive E: (AnyDVD HD 8.3.3.0, BDPHash.bin 18-12-06)
ASUS DRW-24F1STC 1.00
Drive (Hardware) Region: 2
Current profile: DVD-ROM
Media is a DVD.
Booktype: dvd-r (version 5), Layers: 1
Total size: 1231712 sectors (2405 MBytes)
Video DVD (or CD) label: INQ02NTSC
Media is not CSS protected.
Media is locked to region(s): 1 2 3 4 5 6!
Video Standard: NTSC
Structural copy protection not found.
RCE protection not found.
UDF filesystem patched!
Autorun not found on Video DVD.
Bad sector protection not found.
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

So I DO APOLOGIZE FOR THAT! These were paid-for discs shipped by the merchant. The merchant allows a single burn to disc option from online downloads and I've a few of those. So I tried 1 of those.
A VERY different readout is now generated by Any DVD (title edited by me for this post). As follows:

Summary for drive E: (AnyDVD HD 8.3.3.0, BDPHash.bin 18-12-06)
ASUS DRW-24F1STC 1.00
Drive (Hardware) Region: 2
Current profile: DVD+R
Media is a DVD.
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 1
Total size: 2293056 sectors (4478 MBytes)
Video DVD (or CD) label: THE_MOVIE
Media is not CSS protected.
Media is region free.
Video Standard: NTSC
Found & removed structural copy protection!
Found & removed invalid cell pieces!
Found & removed bogus title set(s)!
RCE protection not found.
UDF filesystem patched!
Autorun not found on Video DVD.
Found & removed 32 potential bad sector protections!
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

It appears to run well under VLC with clickables on the title menu working. Otherwise file types are typical VOB, etc. as above. I think this is the image from AnyDVD but not sure. Clicking on the visible files in E: drive which I think are run via AnyDVD. Anyway, that seems workable but obviously copy-protected at some point. Sadly, the PC files' 1 time burn option is expired.

With regard to FluxPlayer, the file types are as listed in my original post. However, I cannot not get AnyDVD to recognize the file on my PC. It only wants files on the E: drive. No "explore "option.
Next, I insert a blank disc and try to force iSkysoft to burn it which it can do normally just fine. Then I'd try to see if AnyDVD could read and strip protection that way - BUT, fails because the disc size is read as 29 gigs(!! Seriously), even though the actual file size approx. 1.1 gigs, the .fluxDVD file with the movie. So that is defeated.

Any ideas? Can I force AnyDVD to read files on the hard drive ? But then, they have a different format name. So is AnyDVD defeated by copy-protection of FluxPlayer?

And if you made it through all that - thank you! I tried to cover possible questions you might have,

You would need to post an AnyDVD log of one of the discs to see if James sees something. Without a log, he has nothing to go on. Maybe one that does work and one that doesn't seem to.

That would be the first of the two logs shown above, if I understand what a log is. Those are the readouts from AnyDVD after loading discs.
The 1st from the commercial product mailed to me form them(which seems to show nothing), and the 2nd from a disc burned by me with the
one time burn option from within the FluxPlayer program and the site. I just loaded that disc today with AnyDVD running and it gave me that info as above.
Thanks for replying.

That is not a log, that is the AnyDVD status window. From the "Please read before you post" sticky, step 5:
5. Post an AnyDVD log file. Many times the answer to your question is visible to experienced users or RedFox support or a developer right away.

Ensure Anydvd is running.
  1. Put the problematic original disc in your optical drive/reader. Wait for Anydvd to scan the disc.
  2. Right click the red fox icon on your system tray (to the lower right).
  3. Select "Create Logfile"
  4. Wait for Anydvd to create a log file. In some circumstances this might take 5 minutes or longer.
  5. A pop-up screen will appear. Take note of the location where Anydvd created the logfile "Anydvd_Info_<xxxxxxx>.ziplog" (or something similar)
  6. Click "ok". A Windows Explorer will open. You will see a zip file called "Anydvd_Info_titleofmydisc.ziplog"
  7. Click "Create new topic" on the top or bottom right of a forum section.
  8. Describe the problem
  9. Below the text box you will see 3 buttons. Click the middle one that states "Upload File".
  10. A small pop-up screen should appear (if it doesn't please ensure your browser is enabled to allow pop-ups from the RedFox forums)
  11. Click the "Browse" button, and locate and select the .ziplog file you created.
  12. Wait for the progress indicator in the top right corner to finish. Then click "Close"
  13. When you submit reply, or submit a new thread, the .ziplog file will be attached automatically for us to take a look at.

OK, proper logfile created. Let me see if I can upload along with this thread.

The problem description is as above. This DVD is NOT the merchant made one.
Rather, the merchant allows a one-time-only burn from within Fluxplayer. That
is also the only way to view purchases online. So this disc is my own Sony disc.
TIA!
