I attempted to download the latest beta version this morning, however, I noticed the date of 12/06/18 not 12/08/16.
 
Wrong section, moved to UHD section. That said, please read this link. It'll tell you everything you need to know. Downloading a beta will have no effect. Support must come from the OPD.

The date you're referring to in the status info is when the bdphash.bin file was last updated. 18-12-06 means december 6th, 2018. It doesn't mean the date you downloaded it.
