The Big Sick: AnyDVD has Trouble Scanning and Can't Copy the Feature

I'm having problems working with a DVD of The Big Sick (US DVD) and AnyDVD 8.2.2.2 (beta). (It also would not work with 8.2.2.0.)

AnyDVD takes longer than usual trying to scan it. When I used AnyDVD to rip The Big Sick DVD to my hard disk it only processed the DVD extras. The main movie was not ripped by AnyDVD.

When I try to then use HandBrake, it appears to scan the DVD, but then the title list is incorrect and ripping is not possible. All of the titles that Handbrake lists are under 15 minutes and are just extras.

Thanks for any insight.

Thanks for the quick reply, Ch3vr0n. I realized after posting my original question that I should not have mentioned HandBrake.

And so I edited the original post to reflect that AnyDVD cannot rip The Big Sick (US) to my hard disk. It rips the extras, but not the feature.

Thanks.

PS I tried the HandBrake fix, too, and it did not help.

There are read errors. I would suspect a faulty disc, but @James will need to check for sure.

Good news! I cleaned the disc and now it appears to be ripping! Will confirm later...

...and yes! it now ripped properly.

Thanks for pointing me toward checking the disc itself!
