I am unable to backup my DVD of this as well. Only 8 titles to choose from and the last title (#26) is the only one with any length to it (1:21:41), but my backup ends in about 2 seconds.

How about you provide a logfile and tell is exactly what you're doing and how you're doing it. 2 second ending looks to me like you're using handbrake? If you are, read this https://forum.redfox.bz/index.php?threads/73213/
