I have backed up a few DVDs by means of AnyDVD and Roxio Creator. I have copied an image to disk and then burned the image onto a DVD.
I use a LiteOn super multi copier. I have copied the DVDs to dual layer DVDs because they are quite large. This appeared to be successful, however, when playing the DVDs, after a long way through, they just stick (freeze on a frame). It then cannot get past the point. I have tried several DVD players but the same problem occurs. It appears that there is something that prevents the DVDs from being copied successfully.
E.g. I have an ex-rental copy of "The Good, the bad and the ugly"; this fails to be backed up.
Does anyone have an answer to this problem?
