Why don't they though? What is the problem?
I mount the iso, and then I believe the error reported by AnyDVD is "drive not ready".
I've had other iso's that didn't work, but I've simply waited and kept trying with subsequent releases of AnyDVD. But these 2 still don't work.
I thought I had a bad disc with Seven Years in Tibet and returned it. But I ripped the new disc and it gives me the same error.
EDIT: the error for Seven Years in Tibet is "error reading from Drive G"
the error for The Lookout is "error processing Blu-Ray disc". And if I try and rip it anyway, I get "drive G is not ready". Seven Years in Tibet doesn't give me an error until I try and rip it. The Lookout gives me an error right away.
EDIT2: here's a list of Blu-Ray discs that have worked using the PS3 iso method:
"Apocalypto", "Blood Diamond", "Bridge to Terabithia, The", "Casino Royale", "Catch and Release", "Crash", "Daddy's Little Girls", "Deja Vu", "Departed, The", "Enemy of the State", "Fifth Element, The", "Flags of our Fathers", "Ghost Rider", "Hart's War", "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", "Holiday, The", "Hossiers", "Hustle & Flow", "King Arthur", "Lethal Weapon 2", "Letters from Iwo Jima", "Men of Honor", "Messengers, The", "Mission Impossible", "Mission Impossible II", "Mission Impossible III", "Music and Lyrics", "Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl", "Premonition", "Queen, The", "Reservoir Dogs", "Searchers, The", "Shooter", "Stargate", "Syriana", "Terminator 2 - Judgment Day", "Terminator, The", "Untouchables, The", "Usual Suspects, The", "Volver", "Warriors, The", "Wild Things"
