After uploading a dvd to harddrive. When I try to open it I am told, CANNOT PLAY VOB FILE FORMAT. How can I correct this?

Anydvd has nothing to do with playing .vob files.

Moving thread to third party products forum . . .
 
rename to .mpg, wmp can play it then. if you dont hear any audio download an ac3 filter from free-codecs.com.

Get something that can play a .VOB file. WMP will not play a standalone .VOB file. I use AVS DVD Player since it is free and works well.
