problem with sopranos

when i try to back up The Sopranos, season 3, disc 2 it stops at 73% every time
and tells me there is a problem reading the VOB? i have tried to back up two different copies of the disc and they both do the same thing.

Ensure you've update to Anydvd 6.1.6.5

Sopranos - Season 4 Disc 3

I am having pretty much the same problem except mine is with season 4 disc 3.

I am using AnyDVD 6.1.7.0 and CloneDVD 2.9.1.2

Here is my errors and stuff -

Summary for drive D: (AnyDVD 6.1.7.0)

Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!)

Media is a DVD.
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite)
Size of first Layer: 2051472 sectors (4006 MBytes)
Total size: 3926183 sectors (7668 MBytes)

Video DVD (or CD) label: SOPRANOS_SEASON4_DISC3
Media is CSS protected!
Video Standard: NTSC
Media is locked to region(s): 1!

RCE protection not found.
DVD structure appears to be correct.
Structural copy protection not found.
Found & removed Autorun from Video DVD!
Bad sector protection not found.
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

Unable to read video files from
d:\video_ts
unexpected error
Be sure that all input files are available and that they represent a properly mastered DVD.

Do what it says to do.

Also, check to see if there's a better ide/ata busmaster driver available for you possibly from your motherboard's support website if Microsoft's default drivers aren't working well for you.
If you're not using Microsoft's default drivers, then please do.

2. a) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)

b) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Click "Clipboard". Then paste the information you pasted into your clipboard into your next post (ctrl-v).

Webslinger, thanks for the quick response.

Before I follow these steps, I thought I'd had better put this out here. I have several PC's, each progressively better than the other, and I seem to only have a problem with this particular DVD.

Should I continue with the instructs, or is there something else that you might want to add to this bizarre turn of events?
