When I use CloneDV is there a way to adjust the volume. When I play back a dvd it seems I have to really turn the volume up on the tv to hear. Anybody help me with this?

Volume problems can occur when poorer quality media are used. Are you using TYs or Verbs? Perhaps MIJ Sonys?

Both Anydvd and Clonedvd have no bearing on audio volume. Your problem lies elsewhere (either bad blank media as mentioned previously--or you selected the wrong audio to backup in Clonedvd). Regardless, Clonedvd does not change or edit audio (including volume).
