CloneBD 1.0.2.3

View attachment DxDiag 1.txtView attachment dxdiag 2.txtView attachment DxDiag 3.txt

Hi Tom I'm currently using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1.

When I choose to begin the conversion process it just simply closes altogether no messages nothing at all

And I have tried DXVA disabled
Hi neo4u,

I do not think it's your fault. Rather your environment or CloneBD. Or both.

What Windows version is running? XP?
Did you try with DXVA disabled?
CloneBD just closes? No message box? Nothing?

Please run (Start/Run) dxdiag. Save info file, remove personal data and post it here.

Tom

And you will get what you expected, every new release will fix some issues and add new features, we hope that you will continue to try CloneBD until it is up to the standards that you expected, its a new software, some softwares like this have taken years to make them right for what the user expects, and still are always innovating, your feedback is always appreciated and requests are always taken into consideration, the customer comes first and the team will try not to disappoint you.

It's great to read.

As already said, it would have been nice for us early adopters and faithful customers to get a notch more than the 20% discount available to first time buyers.

Elby and slysoft released a program with MANY BUGS!!! I know this program is from elby as is clonedvd .When will they get their act together. Maybe after another 50 updates this program will work correctly. Best way to copy blu-ray is to use anydvdhd and rip to iso-You don't need clonebd for that and use imgburn to write to 50gb disks. If you want to use 25gb disks there are other programs to use-I wont mention them here. I was very upset when I first used clonebd and for 3 days I was getting an error message about destination file and a moderator posted like I was doing something Wrong and then I get an e-mail from elby that it was a little bug and would be fixed soon.-Supposedly that was fixed. It also took hours to process iso file while other programs did this in a reasonable time and clonebd used 100% of cpu!!!! I waited a few years for slyce or clonebd or whatever its called.

Scotton, u do know the current release is only a PUBLIC BETA right? Of course it still has bugs and can be improved a lot before retail release. You got upset because u had unreasonable expectations and was expecting a fully functional program on the first release. NO PROGRAM is 100 stable on first release.

That write error should be fixed, there is a new build scheduled for tomorrow 23.00 GMT. Using 100% of CPU is a good thing! Means it's performing as good as it can. x264 is known to fully utilize CPU power and that's good.

And you were not the only one waiting on cloneBD, a lot of people were. They just have common sense not to expect a fully functional program

Really Tom.There is any chance to see any update of CloneBD before the 20% discount expire or it will continue after this date?I'm waiting for a lifetime license,to ensure that all will be ok.Yes,i know that i said i don't care...but if i can gain something from this.it will be also good.
I understand that CloneBD is a new product, but the support compare to slysoft, elby is too long behide.I'm sorry, but this is just my opinion.Do you know anything about upcoming updates?I don't want to to buy a lifetime license, and after that to refund it.

Chris,

For now, updates are scheduled every Friday, so 5 more updates until end of promotion. Plus maybe one or two updates in between. Stay tuned.

Tom

In my opinion YOU DON'T HAVE ANY COMMON SENSE. After waiting a few years for slyce or clonebd I think it would be a functioning program that they are selling with LOTS OF LARGE BUGS . If your selling something for $100 it may have some small bugs and this program is not working properly YET.

It also took hours to process iso file while other programs did this in a reasonable time
CloneBD might try to transcode where it shouldn't. There is already a feature request "disable transcoding for ISO", please check changelog of upcoming updates for ticket [#535].

and clonebd used 100% of cpu!!!!
Yep, and this is a good thing like Ch3vr0n said. The percentage should go up to 100% when computer is idle.

Actually I do have common sense, while I was waiting on it I've been using and will continue to use bd-rebuilder until CloneBD is capable of doing what I need it to do. And large bugs or small bugs doesn't matter, what I said is that no program is 100% stable on first public release. Don't twist my words, anyway use it or don't. It's up to you, you have no clue how many different variables there are in the bluray standard and they have to make CloneBD work with every possible variation. And to me and matters worse, there are a lot of retail bluray or there that don't even fully comply to the standard we're they should.

Thanks but I have used a trial of a program and it only used less than 20% of cpu and processed in a reasonable time -with good quality.

Waiting on the next or 2-3 after updates.

"Glad you used the word "Software". You help me to stay polite after blindly buying this piece of software. ...."

Cheer up, If you bought a year's subscription you should still see major strides as people report on more & varied BD's, on a multitude of computers/systems.

From what I can see I have suffered from 2 major problems on The Expendables 3 extended (over 2 hours movie). I think the first was the Temp files folder. I could see by the 1/2 way mark that something wasn't right, but had to leave the computer. When I got back the process had failed and all folders were missing. I didn't look for or generate a report to send. In that I am a klutz.

2nd attempt I used AnyDVDHD to rip to a destination of my selection, then attempted to create a 1:1 copy of the movie only to another Drive. Process looked good, but now I apparently have a title with 0 bytes so I assume I have nothing, certainly nothing would pick it up last night, though I would swear I could see the files but not get them to burn. Using Nero 12 to burn a BD RW test, I had a report that looked like it was all the missing titles were still registered but not there, which caused the final burn to fail.

As I was only in trial mode
I have removed the whole BD program for a while, and am sitting on my money waiting to see if a usable version arrives before end of discount time then I will grab lifetime sub.

The elements are there, the program has a potential to be awesome, and so far is the only editable BD backup that I have heard of.

and:bowdown:

Thanks neo4u,

A developer will have a closer look at this tomorrow. I keep you updated.

Tom

neo4u,

Developer checked it and asks for more information:

Please check after Crash for CloneBD*.dmp file in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\CrashDumps

If there are any files, please let me know.

Happens only with one BD movie or with all?

Thanks,
Tom
