Games closes

Hi,
I've been having problems with GJ recently. When i open a profile everything starts as normal but if there is a opening screen shot (i.e. BF 2/2142/any other BF game) it appears for like 1/2 a second then goes away. the i get a black screen as if the game was starting then it closes and GJ stops the profile. i've even tried just starting the profile and starting the game manually and still same problem. i've also tried Spider-man 3 (yes i know it sucks but it's fun) and i get kinda the same result!!! once i've been able to start BF2 but that was luck i guess, game stayed on long enough to keep running. Plz some one help me, this sucks cause it doesn't work!

Maybe the protection isn't on that file. What happens if you scan the entire folder or the original disk?

i tried running Far Cry, (no mods) SW JK outcast (some skin mods), SW JK Academy (some skin mods), and the all work fine. i got BF2 SF running last night and now it does the same as SM4, BF2, BF2142. all versions of games are up to date on those and were before i made profiles for them. they just decided to stop working i guess

In general, try profiling whatever .exe file launches you directly into the game (no splash screen about updating or visiting websites first, etc. Create a profile of the .exe that actually launches the game).

ok, thanks. i un-installed GJ reinstalled it, then redid a profile for BF2, same thing, un-installed again and just started BF2 with CD and it still does it. so i have no idea now....man this sucks. :doh: my head hurts. if anyone else has seen this and knows WTH is going on plz let me know!!! my head hurts, im going to bed!
