1) AnyDVD would not recognize the DVD drives and would give only the following message on the Status Tab of AnyDVD:
AnyDVD is disabled for Drive E:!
AnyDVD is disabled for Drive F:!
2) All Three Steps outlined in post 4th June 2007, 11:51 were completed without sucess.
3) Following the advice in post 10th June 2007, 19:19, 6.1.6.1 and 6.1.6.2 were installed replicating steps 1 through 2 without success.
4) After each install, step four was done and each time the following upper and lower filter list appeared:
Upper Filters:
incdrm
GEARAspiWDM
Lower Filters:
AnyDVD
ElbyDelay
ElbyCDFL
5) The OS is Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2
6) The brand and model of the optical drives are both Device Type:
DVD/CD-ROM drives
Manufacturer: (Standard CD-ROM drives)
Both Drivers are: Driver Provided: Microsoft
Driver Date: 7/1/2001
Driver Version: 5.1.2535.0
Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Publisher
The Update Driver Feature was used on both these devices and the wizard could not find a better match for the hardware than the softward that is currently installed.
Both Optical drives are working properly but the status tabs state that the drives are disabled.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!
