From a recent support ticket:

I keep getting the message "DVD drive not found", but it's THERE!
I can see it!!

the question is, is it installed in the computer ^^, or maybe he/she only has a hard drive installed :p
 
You could have replied "Could you send me a photo so I can see it, too?".
