Will AnyDVD & CloneDVD combined convert PAL to NTSC? I know that AnyDVD can remove region codes but I'm talking about a complete transcription from 25 frames to 30 frames per second, resolution changes etc.

If these programs cannot, can you recommend something else that will do it? I've seen many suggestions on how to do it using a variety of tools but you end up ripping the thing into MPEG-2 format and basically rebuilding the entire DVD from scratch using authoring software. Of course then you lose things like fancy menus, subtitles, alternate audio channels etc.

I'm looking for a way to do the whole DVD conversion from PAL to NTSC in one swoop.

If Clone DVD cannot do this now let me offer it as a wish list item for future versions.

No.

Some software programs can do this (ie Nero Vision) but be aware that you will lose menus from the DVD you wish to convert. No Slysoft product can do PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL conversions.

No. And I doubt they ever will. I would imagine something like that being added perhaps to Clonedvdmobile in the very distant future, as that is Slysoft's conversion software.

You may want to ask your question in the third party products forum.

You may want to consider a DVD player that does NTSC <--> PAL with the added benefit of being able to play all regions. Backups of my Region 2 DVDs play fine on my computer but not on my home theater system.
