Hallo zusammen

(AnyDVD 6.1.4.3)
Drive (Hardware) Region: 2

Media is a DVD.
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite)
Size of first Layer: 2044672 sectors (3993 MBytes)
Total size: 3965792 sectors (7745 MBytes)

Video DVD (or CD) label: DVDVolume
Media is CSS protected!
Video Standard: PAL
Media is locked to region(s): 2!

Warning: .bup file location is wrong, .bup processing disabled!

Razy

Kannst du die 6.1.5.1 beta probieren.
Gibts hier
EDIT: Sorry sollte genauer lesen.

(translated http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr)

English: My apologies . . . I do not speak German. Can you email the .ifo files to Slysoft or are the .ifo files too big to email?

I think Slysoft needs to order this dvd.

I wish I could speak all languages, including German.

Really looks like a nwe Protect dvd video protection.

@Webslinger I could be your translator in this case if you want to. ;-)

Here we are with the wantet screenshot.
(How can I put a screenshot into this field?? :)

So you get the screenshot attached (screenshot Files Apocalypto.jpg).

Maybe it helps...

.... and hello
It seems that there is no solution at the moment
In the meantime I've tried many different dvd-rippers (Magic dvd ripper etc.), which had a may-update, to rip the dvd to the harddrive... but with no success.
But perhaps somebody knows a ripper, which is up to enough, to read the ifos from "Apocalypto".

At the moment there is is only one thing to do: Waiting

Translation:
Anydvd is the most up to date one you can find.
You can try dvdfab decrypter.
If that doesn't work you should try a main movie backup with dvdfab 3.0.2.0 8and only thsi version.
This was the trick at least with the latest protect dvd video protection, when anydvd couldn't handle it.

I suspect people with this disc will have to wait until James gets his hands on it (or orders the disc). James needs to look at the .ifo files, and they are too large to email.

(Thank you for the translation, sheep).

I, obviously, don't know if James will order the disc (but that seems like the most obvious solution).

Edit: Has anyone tried Anydvd 6.1.5.3 with this movie? To Download Anydvd 6.1.5.3 beta Click this. I doubt it will work, but it might be worth trying.

... ich habe alles versucht (I've tryed everything).

Anydvd 6.1.5.3 Beta
DVDFab (3.1.1.2 und 3.1.1.5 Beta)
RipIt4you

Es funktioniert alles nicht. (It doesn't work anything).

Aber trotzdem, vielen Dank für die Tipps!
But anyway, thanks a lot for the help.

Vielleicht kommt bald ein erlösendes Update...
(Maybe soon there'll be a helpful Update)

Thank you for the information.

Unfortunately, we must wait for James to receive the .ifos. The only way to do that is (probably) for him to order the movie, since the .ifos are too big to email.

So we must be patient and wait.

Region 2 seems to be plagued by these horrible protect-dvd titles. The disc structures do not comply to acceptable standards.

I can confirm that the Apocalypto-DVD (german) has a new 'Protect dvd' video protection.

AnyDVD does not work, even the newest beta 6.1.5.3.

On Mac I could rip it, but ripped data is corrupt because i could not play the movie.

The DVD info window of OS X shows that the DVD has 8.56 GByte, but the VIDEO_TS-Folder is shown as 13.16 GByte..

All the IFO's are zipped 347.1 MByte.

I'll order the disc. I don't believe getting IFOs will help much, as this new protection usually has a defective filesystem, so the IFOs will be corrupt if you copy them (like "Perfume", German).
Release date is May 29th, so it'll take a while until I get my hands on it.
