Profiles keep dissappearing

On my son's PC, his profiles have now dissappeared for the 2nd time. I have never had this problem before, and nothing has changed on his PC. This a known problem and is their a fix?

Couldn't really tell ya on this as slysoft hasn't even released the first version just yet.
