using verbatim dvd+r media which is recommended by lacie for my lightscribe dvd burner

clonedvd won't burn since it states bad media

any suggestions

1. Update your burner's firmware (if available)

2. Do steps 3 and 4 from here
(note that step 4 requires you to post information; do not start randomly deleting filters)

3. If you're using a 16x burn speed on 16x rated blank media, try reducing your burn speed to 12x or 8x.
