AnyDVD problem?

My post of yesterday was moved to 3rd party products area when the error log seems to refer to failure to remove encryption. I am attempting to copy a new Alphadog dvd and neith 1 click or cloneDVD will copy.

Any pointers in the right direction are appreciated. Thanks.

My post of yesterday was moved to 3rd party products area when the error log seems to refer to failure to remove encryption.

1. Do not create multiple threads about the exact same issue, please.

2. Clonedvd/Anydvd work perfectly fine with Alpha dog:
visit http://forum.slysoft.com/showpost.php?p=26981&postcount=1
Consequently, I doubt this issue is related to Anydvd, unless, in general, it isn't
working properly on your system (for all discs, for example).

3. There's a new version of Anydvd:
http://sandbox.slysoft.com/beta/SetupAnyDVD6142.exe

4. Have you tried posting your issue in the 1-Click forums:
http://forum.lgsoftwareinnovations.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1

5. I am, as are most others here (although a few are), not accustomed to reading 1-Click error logs. However, this message
("A read error has occurred while reading a file.
The file may be encrypted or cannot be read correctly by the DVD device.")
may indicate a bad original disc even if it plays fine on a standalone dvd player.

Also "error Bad sectors starting at: 1290066 in Title 1" may indicate a faulty original disc.

6. The full error message provided by Clonedvd might be useful.

I might suspect that you may have a "Bad" Source Disc ( ? )
..... so let's get that - out of the way -

Inspect the Disc and try cleaning it - even if it doesn't look like it needs it.

If this doesn't prove successful ...
Use the VSOInspector to scan the Disc ( it's Free )
http://www.vso-software.fr/products/inspector/inspector.php

If the Inspector reports "READ Errors"
Then you'll know that you've come across a "BAD" Source Disc .
I would then suggest that you acquire a different copy
... and compare your results .

:)
