anydvd 6.1.4.1

Has anydvd 6.1.4.1 been released yet? or is it just a beta version?

Do you think it will solve the problem of copying "Pursuit of Happyness" and "Casino Royale" using dvd shrink and Nero to make copies.

I tried using Dvd Fab decryptor and Nero to copy but it won't play on TV DVD player. It will play on my computer.

Confused and would like advice.

AnyDVD 6.1.4.1 was beta and was replaced with 6.1.4.2 which is also currently still beta. These new versions of AnyDVD include a new and improved ripper function that should allow you to copy those titles with Shrink or Recode. Basically just rip the disc to the hard drive with the new AnyDVD ripper and then open the files on the hard drive with Shrink or Recode. Better yet, if you have CloneDVD, select DVD DL mode to turn off compression and select only the titlesets, audio, and subtitle streams you want to include on your backup. Then use CloneDVD to rip to the hard drive and Shrink or Recode to compress it. This allows you to keep the menu and remove unwanted titlesets which makes more room for Shrink or Recode to use. In any case, check out the first post in this thread as it has a link to 6.1.4.2...IMO it's as stable as any release version.

That's a blank media/standalone player compatibility issue. It can be resolved by using blank media your stanadlone player works with--or choosing another standalone dvd player. If you're using +R blank media, ensure you change the booktype to "dvd-rom".

Thanks for the help.

I downloaded AnyDVD 6.1.4.2 and used Rip Video to HD option.

Then I used DVD Shrink to compress files and copied "Pursuit of Happyness"
successfully.

I am happy now!:clap:
