Yeah I have tried the latest beta version of clonedvd mobile.

The image ripped with anydvd is fine and can be mounted and watched no problem. The only problems that I have is when I try to convert them to divx.

I have had this problem with a couple of other images too but did not record any details of them.

I think the problem is with clonedvd mobile and not anydvd.

I only mentioned AnyDVD in case you weren't aware there was a newer version.

You may like to try CloneDVDmobile 1.2.0.1 below to see if that helps (as some people experience difficulties with versions 1.6.*.*):

You may need to uninstall the 1.6 version, then install the 1.2 version (Remember to back up your Key in a safe spot).

1.6.2.0 Not Working

I have tried converting several DVDs (Dead Like Me TV series pilot episode and On The Town movie) on my Windows Vista (32-bit) laptop, using the iPod Touch settings in CloneDVD Mobile 1.6.2.0 beta, and it fails every time after around 3 to 5% progress. I have attached the log files for one of these failures. I also ripped to my HDD using AnyDVD HD 6.6.3.2 and then again tried CloneDVD Mobile using the HDD rip as the source - I get the same failures.

I experimented for a while and found that all beta releases including and after 1.6.1.5 also cause the same failures, whereas the officially released 1.6.1.0 does NOT. However, I cannot use 1.6.1.0 due to the problem that output video files will not sync across to my iPod Touch via iTunes.

I also tried version 1.2.0.1. This version completes conversion of the DVD and the output video does sync to my iPod Touch. However, the video does suffer from the fraction of a second video/audio out-of-sync problem. So desperately hoping the problems with 1.6.#.# can be resolved soon.

Update: I just tried 1.6.2.0 on my other computer, which runs Windows XP, has completely different hardware and is much older than my Vista laptop. The above conversions generate the same failures after 3 to 5% progress.

Beta 1.6.2.0 doesn't work either

I have tried 1.6.1.9 and 1.6.2 and get error from both at 2% and using Windows Vista plus i have tried to use 1.6.1.0 and that one use up all my hard drive so i had to delete that one because I had to clean up everything so that i could use my computer. Is there any that can be done for this software so that i can use it again. I had no problems until 1.6.1.0 i think. .:bang:

CloneDVDMobile crash

Hi, I attached the log zip and the first part of the error message (txt file)

this was done using the files ripped to the hard drive first and then running cloneDVD mobile against those.
