i am having trouble backing up the newer US movies of late, such as STAR TREK,Terminator Salvation,Transformers R.O.T.F and Up.i am using 1 Click DVD along with AnyDVD.I have never had this much troble getting new movies.can anybody shed any light on my situation?

1. Update to 6608. Rip the HD first and then use 1 ClickDVD.
2. Or use Any DVD w/ 1 click , ensure CPRX is disabled in 1 click

these are just regular dvds,1 click recomends not disabling the CPRX.

Wrong, if you use AnyDVD, you have to disable their CPRx, you got it backwards. ;) Thats your whole problem, you can only use one decrypter at a time. I know 1ClicktoDVD very well. After CloneDVD2 it is the best program out there , just my opinion of course.

Yes it is. You MUST disable CPRx in 1Click - let AnyDVD do ALL the work.

Try right clicking the Fox head in the taskbar. Go to rip video disc to harddisk. Now rip the disk to the HD. Then try 1 click. If the disk fails to rip properly then there is a problem w/ the disk or your burner is failing to read the disk properly. I ripped 3 of the 4 movies you are doing w/ no problem. I then used DVD Rebuilder-Pro to process the data.

Remember... most all of us here already did these US titles with AnyDVD.
In fact, I did all four of them with no problems.
If you can't get a good rip with the AnyDVD ripper. You need to go to the top of the board... read the stickies... and POST the information and the AnyDVD LOG FILES that are needed to help you.

Know that AnyDVD handles these titles just fine...
You have a problem. Tone it down a little and people will help you.

It does if you right click and uncheck CPRx in 1Click. If that doesnt work you will have to ask 1Click why, cause it works for everyone else using the software. Perhaps you have a badly stamped disc.

after i ripp the movie can i burn it back out with 1click

Could you also please -

Right Click on the AnyDVD fox in your Sys tray
> Settings > Video DVD > Settings
>> Press the Default Button

... Copy and Paste\ Post your AnyDVD "Status" Report ?

> Insert the Original Disc into your "Source" drive
> Allow AnyDVD to recognize the Disc
> Right Click on the AnyDVD Fox > Settings > Status
>> Copy and Paste the Disc info

On certain Discs with a Status Report like the one posted above,
You may need to employ the "Wall-E Strategy"

You have two choices - both work

Either this :
This is how it's done ......Using the AnyDVD"Ripper"

or This :
This is how it's done ......Using 1Click's CPRx with AnyDVD

I had no trouble ... I just used the AnyDVD"Ripper" first
- No Sweat
The CPRx method works Also ...

The AnyDVD ripper output produces a DVD Compliant, unprotected, rip that one ought to be able to import into ANY DVD copy program. I still use DVDShrink which hasn't been updated in 1000 years and have no problems with anything.

What you need to do now is to upload the AnyDVD logfile from a disk that you CANNOT rip with the AnyDVD ripper. The "read me" stuff at the top of the board here explains how to do that. Without a logfile it's impossible to try to diagnose your specific problem.

Maybe you should just do yourself a favor and buy CloneDVD2.

I think this thread would be better served in the Third Party Products Forum.

Were you able to rip "UP" to your HDD using the AnyDVD"Ripper" ?
Are you able to create an AnyDVD Log file ?

What Version# of 1Click are you presently using ?
