• AnyStream is having some DRM issues currently, Netflix is not available in HD for the time being.
Situations like this will always happen with AnyStream: streaming providers are continuously improving their countermeasures while we try to catch up, it's an ongoing cat-and-mouse game. He wants me to prove that Pursuit of Happyness is CSS protected in Region 1 and that the film is not region free. But he refuses to visit this link (and scroll down):
http://forum.slysoft.com/showpost.php?p=18909&postcount=1

He wants me to copy and paste information (or retype it myself) for him to read in this thread, which I've already done once before out of good will (in fact, I actually retyped some info); but I can only tolerate so much. As I stated before, I am not his pet monkey; I am not going to dance if he shouts and makes demands of me.

There is a chance Anydvd is not working properly on his system, but at this point, I'm no longer interested in attempting to troubleshoot.

With all these updates, you would think that at least one of them will work. Proof is what we need, and whining won't help.
Troubleshoot?
I still have to see you do any.

Links are less reliable than actual logs!

is that not the same picture's as your other post, your blue squiggly lines look identicle

Those are the same pictures.
Strangely enough, you did not even ask what program I am using!

Those attachments prove what I say.

You have yet to prove anything. Or disprove what I say. Show similar attachments.

But I guess you do not have to. I understand.

To err is human, but to accept the error takes more!

Nor do we care. It's completely irrelevant to this discussion.

Those attachments prove what I say.

Nope, not really. They don't "prove" anything. As I said, you could be copying a copy in which case the protection has already been removed. Until I see your AnyDVD status window, you haven't proven anything one way or the other as far as I'm concerned.

That's blatantly incorrect. You have been shown the AnyDVD status window which clearly shows what protection is on the region 1 disc. The same status windows has been posted on several forums. I'm more willing to trust that than I am anything you currently have to say on the issue. I'm quite willing to accept that if I go buy this movie(and I may as my wife really wants it) that it will be filled with CSS, region coding, and ArrCCOS. But then, I won't have problems backing it up, either...

AnyDvd log?

Hold on. Let me look.

Where do I find this? There doesn't seem to be any?

Somebody asked for the status window but it shows only the dirves available. What good would those do?

this

log/status
playing on words now

Right! Hold on

Nope! It shows only the drives, there are no discs present. The dvd should be in the drive. let me rent the movie again.
For the meantime, show me what it looks like with the Happyness on the drive.
Are you sure you do not want to try the freeware I am using?
You would find out that it does not allow AnyDvd to be open.
It is still a freeware. You don't have to buy it. And you will see this log that I uploaded.

I will try again to upload the Decrypter log here----
View attachment Golden Flower2.txt

This should show that css encryption (I counted ten) is still there and AnyDvd program should be off.

If you are really curious that what I say is true, do what I just did.

But you have to get a hold of the movies first.

By consequence, if I am the one telling the truth.........

the Region 1 release does have CSS. It's also another horribly mangled release.

I am looking at it and I am inclined to believe it!

Now I have to do some searching. But I do not doubt your status jpg

Let me do some re-renting, ok?

Sure, but, don't expect anyone to help you with this as it's against the forum rules. But I'm sure you knew that.

I didn't ask for any help, not from you to say the least.

And what rule am I breaking now.

But it took this sensible guy to put out proof that I need.

My hat is off to him.

It goes to show how much resources are available.8)

Especially for older members.

That's quite enough of your rude postings towards those that are trying to educate you. Consider this a warning. :policeman:

Insulting and ordering me around is one thing. I will not tolerate that type of behaviour towards others that are trying to help.

I told you a long time ago that this disc was css protected and region locked. This thread is no longer useful.
