Please see the attached information and log file. I continually get the insert disc error. (details in the txt file) After the failure, the Recommendations tab pops up. I followed the "There is sector data missing from the profile ... prompt, and still not working. Searched the Forum and was unable to find a solution. Your assistance is appreciated.

C:\Windows\system32\drivers\AnyDVD.sys v6.5.4.9

1. Update Anydvd: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showpost.php?p=207170&postcount=1

C:\Windows\system32\drivers\PxHlpa64.sys v0.0.0.0

PxHLPA64 has caused fits on some people's systems: http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?p=180227

2.
i) Create a backup of your registry: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756
ii) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)
iii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "PxHlpa64. Click "remove selected filter". Click "ok".
iv) Reboot

Keep in mind that whatever program installed that filter may no longer function properly

3. Create a new profile (try image mode), and test again

Thanks for your help. Here is the new log file.

Unless I'm reading your logfiles wrong (and I could be), it seems to me as though C:\Windows\system32\drivers\PxHlpa64.sys is still being loaded.

1.
a) Download imgburn. It's a free program: click http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)

b) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Click "Clipboard". Then paste the information you pasted into your clipboard into your next post (ctrl-v).

2. Also, Anydvd 6.5.6.4 fixed a lot of bugs, I recommend you update to it: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?p=207170#post207170

Thanks for your help. Here is the new log file.

There are issues with the log files... after you try webslingers suggestion, could you try to recapture the profile again, however this time make sure you run the capture straight after a reboot. Logging at the log file suggests that there is some data missing from the profile, creating the profile after a reboot ensure there is no caching going on.

BF 2 Fixed, here's how

Actually I am not sure why, but I did everything suggested without any luck. I just happened to plug in an LG external DVD burner to duplicate some of my websites as a second backup. I then tried the GJ process using the LG drive, and it worked great! I did have to use image mode, but with 4T of disk space that's not a problem.

Thank you to those that replied to my initial request for assistance. You are appreciated.

Okay, so this OEM Samsung drive failed, eh?

TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-H653Q

Interesting

Yup. I just tried it with COD and BF Vietnam...won't work with the OEM drive, works fine with the external LG DVD drive. If you want any info, (logs, model #s, whatever) so the problem can be diagnosed and/or fixed for others, let me know and I will send you what you want. (assuming I can figure out how to get the info for you :) )

Otherwise, I think I am good to go.

I'm thinking either that OEM Samsung drive is faulty or is limited in some respect.

Thank you for the info

This is wild...

If I disconnect the external LG DVD drive, my GJ profile will not work, gives me the message about inserting the game disc... Plug the LG DVD drive back in...(plugged in hot...no rebooting) and the GJ profiles work fine... any ideas? I sometimes need the LG drive elsewhere...and don't really want to spend $ on a second one just to enable GJ to work.. ?)

Hmmm... how odd. Can you post the log files from the working profile (ensure advanced logging is check and run the profile first).

I would like to compare the 2 logs.

not working again

here is the new log. I use it a few times successfully. though each time I had to edit the profile to tell GJ where the executable file was, but I didnt mind that. Now, it wont work at all again....really beginning to annoy me... I tried to delete the profile, rebuit it with image mode and without, and it wont work....is there anyway I can get the most expereinced person on this so I can use GJ?

I just installed them, am about to reboot. (there were no drivers in the 64 bit driver list, only in the windows 32 drivers. I saved the old ones just in case, and added the 64 bit drivers where there were none. be back shortly as I reboot

error message

I will next try image mode...without image mode, I get this error:

Access violation at address 0053D94F in module '477726.exe'.
