I have the latest Versions of CLONEDVD & ANYDVD. Trying to make back-ups for "Casino Royale, Flushed Away & A Good Year" I get the same error at about 80% of creating the DVD files. (Other DVD's have worked in between these attempts.) The error from Clone DVD says :
Unexpected Error. Details:Clone 1 TCE

Log info from Clonedvd during the failure (only the last few entries):

D 38.204916: creating snapshot picture failed
D 38.204916: remuxing forced: TC 7 0 02941379
D 38.205031: creating snapshot picture failed
D 38.205031: remuxing forced: TC 7 0 02941379
E 10:05:53 Processing stopped: unexpected error
D Error details: Clone 1 TCE

AnyDvd info:

Another thing that I noticed also is that these titles that fail, also will not show a snapshot (preview) while attempting to write the files?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hmm, that error usually indicates Clonedvd2 cannot compress data to fit on your destination disc, and the reason why is usually that Anydvd isn't decrypting properly--possibly with the wrong CSS key.

1. Click the fox icon on your toolbar. On the left go to "video-dvd" and "css keys". You don't have the css archive enabled, right? If so, please uncheck it; remove the disc; put it back in.

2. If you're using normal single layer blank media, ensure Clonedvd is set to "dvd-5" near the quality bar. What brand and type of blank media are you using?

Alternatively, try another drive as your reader.

Take a look at this: http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=2468
It's possible you have a bad original disc.

Worked, Thanks!

Yep...for some reason the css archive was enabled. I don't remember ever clicking that box?

Anyway, unchecked it and away it went...also that fixed the snapshot view also!

Thanks so much!

Thanks so much!

You're very welcome! I'm glad everything is working for you now..

If you enabled the CSS archive in a previous version of Anydvd, it will remain enabled even when you update Anydvd.
If you right click on that box, you will see what the css archive is used for (you will get a nice little description in Anydvd).

The problem is that if Anydvd, at any time, obtains the wrong css key when you have the css archive feature active--then the wrong css key will be used constantly, because Anydvd will not attempt to obtain a new one again (Anydvd will just refer to its CSS archive that contains the wrong key, in this case). With this feature disabled, Anydvd tries the get the CSS key each and every time you put the same disc in.
