no i dont own it, i had it for the nigth a couple days ago, our store prefers us to watch the movies before they hit the shelf, so i tried it in here,( little did i no i didnt have default settings on AnyDvd) and didnt get it to work. So i wont be able to get it till tuesday... but does it look liek i will be good? just a stupid mistake not checking my settings?? oh an also im from canada, is that the same site for the firmware dl??

lol....well alright thanks for the help anyways... but unrelated to this movie then... without those settings i didnt have selected...thats what was giving me trouble? and can i update my firmware from that link being from canada?

and can i update my firmware from that link being from canada?

Yeah, it's a file you download. Then you have to follow the instructions. Updating your firmware may help improve your drive's performance.

As for your other questions, I can't answer them. Someone else might be able to, but I can't.

Working for a store and actually owning a copy are two separate factors (in terms of me helping people).
And for the record, if you like a movie, buy it.

Also, let's keep things cool/frosty/calm here, folks, please.

Casino Royale

Casino Royale? 21 minutes(Total Time) to back up with AnyDVD, 6.1.3.0 & CloneDVD 2, 2.9.0.3. Boy, 96 bad sector protections, Ripguard, Arrccos, Sony put it all on this one.
Slysoft Rules!

Good job, Bunnyrip2 I also had no problems with this movie. I think the newer versions of AnyDVD handle even more than 96 bad sector protections, I don't see this being a future problem.

The only "problem" I had was the increased read time in CloneDVD.....

Has everyone actually reviewed their backup?
I used copy dvd titles, menus preserved, with output method to hard drive. I found that selecting "play" within the menu resulted in the menu going to the missing VTS's 6 & 7 (parental and copywrite warnings), , then returning to VTS 1, where it would run, but display no video. If I tried to access additional funtions, the pc player would freeze, and could only be shut down with the task manager.
The work around that I found was to select VTS 6 & 7 along with the main title, then blank them and the menu for them with VobBlanker.

What player software?

Did you happen to have "remove annoying adverts and trailers" selected in Anydvd?

Nero Showtime, AnyDVD at default settings.
It appeared that the pointers to VTS 6 & 7 remained in the menu. After I included them initially with CloneDVD, then blanked them and their menu with
VobBlanker, selecting play results in the player going directly to VTS 1 and funtioning normally.
I might add, that in the first attempt, using scene selections and choosing chapter 1 did not cause any problems.

Have to wait and see for responses. It might be something specific to Nero Showtime--as opposed to playing back on a standalone player.

Yes, and if not specific to Nero or other pc players, it is easy enough to get around, by choosing 6 & 7 along with the main ts. I don't think anyone choosing option 2 will have a problem, as VTS 6 & 7 will be included. (Blanking them would be optional. I just hate having to look at them, let alone compress them as well)
I just thought I'd post, as a heads up for anyone who might encounter the same problem.

Wow! "21 minutes"...total?

...how & what kind of equipment will read & write this 144 minute main movie title, with 96 bad sectors, in 21 minutes? ...that burner/drive must have a Nitrous Bottle hooked up to it! ... my AnyDVD 6130+CloneDVD2+NEC 16X burner needed alot more minutes on this Sony Infected Flick....like 36 to read it, & 12 to write it....help me out here,.........

I did full disc backup and it starts with the Spiderman 3 preview and goes all the way through.
