Problems w/GJ registration

First, congratulations for acquiring Game Jackal. I finally have a place to tell my troubles to.

Anyway, I'm a registered GJ user. I reloaded my PC recently. I installed the GJ Trial file, then I copied the maplom.reg and the Game_Jackal_Full_v2.ldf into that directory. It tells me I'm a registered user, but that my license isn't initialized. When I try to create a profile, it tells me that my current license is either not valid or has expired. I sent a email to the GJ support about a week ago but have heard nothing back. So, I guess it's your problem now, yes?

EDIT: I have 2.8.17.500

No. Not until you pay for Game Jackal through Slysoft (and you can't as of this post) . . .

You'll probably hear back from them. I submitted a support ticket and it went unanswered for about a week and a half but then they got everything straightened out. You might want to ask them for a new download of your .500 software and to provide you with your order number. That is how that version is registered...no activating a license required. It is much simpler and worked well for me.
