I have the latest ccd and was wondering, if you use the emulation feature, can you make a working back up of the latest safedisc or securom DVD protection of a pc game?

I've had success making a disc image of Civ 4 (DVD edition) and playing it with DAEMON tools. I haven't tried to burn it, but I at least know that just playing off the HD is possible.
