Nope. Not with the complete absence of information you've provided.

Do not post in other people's troubleshooting threads unless you wish to assist them. Click http://forum.slysoft.com/showpost.php?p=87585&postcount=4 and read fully. Thank you.

1. Use Anydvd 6.4.3.2: click http://static.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD6432.exe

You may need to reboot after installing if prompted to do so.

2. Click the red fox icon on your toolbar. Click "default". Click "ok".

3. If you use DVDShrink, Nero Recode, or programs that generally can't handle structural protections, right-click on the fox icon on your toolbar and select "Rip video-dvd to Hard Disk". Choose your source and destination paths. Click "Copy", and wait for Anydvd ripper to finish. You can then import that rip into whatever program you want. This is an important step if the original disc contains structural protection.

click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=3992 and read fully

You don't need to do this if you own Clonedvd or are planning to make a backup with Clonecd.

4. Use Clonedvd 2.9.1.7: click http://static.slysoft.com/SetupCloneDVD2917.exe

5. Follow the steps from this link in order: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=476 (follow them step by step)

If you're using +R DL blank discs, I recommend using Clonecd: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=327

6. If you still have problems, then . . .

A)
a) Ensure Anydvd is running.
b) Put the problematic original movie dvd in your burner. Wait for Anydvd to scan the disc.
c) Right click the red fox icon on your toolbar.
d) Select "Create Logfile"
e) Wait for Anydvd to create a log file.
f) A pop-up screen will appear. Take note of the location where Anydvd created the logfile and the logfile's name. Click "ok".
g) Go to your My Documents folder
h) You will see a zip file called "Anydvd_Info_titleofmydisc.zip" (or something similar; see step f)
i) When replying or posting in the Slysoft forums, look for the icon that looks like
attach.gif
(in other words, look for the paperclip after clicking "quote" or when creating a new thread)
j) If you don't see that paperclip icon, click the "go advanced" button. You should see that icon now. Click the paperclip.
k) A small pop-up screen should appear (if it doesn't please ensure your browser is enabled to allow pop-ups from the Slysoft forums)
l) Click the "Browse" button, and locate and select the .zip file you created.
m) click "upload"
n) Close the window. When you submit reply, or submit a new thread, the .zip file will be attached automatically for us to take a look at

B) State the full a)error message(s) you encountered (click "details"), b)tell us what program(s) you were using when you received the error message(s), and c) describe in detail what you were doing when you received the error message(s). What problem are you having exactly?

C) Click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=5091 to see if your question has already been answered

I have tried six different DVDs and have gotten the exact same result ever since I downloaded AnyDVD 6.4.3.2. I have redownloaded, rebooted, etc., but I still get that same error message. Help. Sam

I have been having this problem since taking the update last friday. Shrink and Nero simply are unable to handle the whatever I throw at it with the addition of the updated version of AnyD. However, two other people that I know of, use the same programs that I do, and are having no problems with the update. The only difference being is that they took the update one day prior to my time. I removed Shrink and put it back into use, I did the same with Nero, and still it showed the same problem. Seeing I simply could not get around this problem, I ran a system restore and knocked off the updated version of AnyD. Now, once again, I am not having any problems. Clearly this is a problem with AnyD and not Shrink or Nero.. one in which AnyD does not appear to be doing anything about.

Clearly this is a problem with AnyD.

Uhhh, no. I am not having any issues with any of the programs you mentioned on three different computers, and it doesn't matter what day you updated Anydvd on; it's not as though there way a change in the download.

Do not post in multiple threads about the exact same thing please.

If you're not going to provide any troubleshooting information, no one is going to bother trying to assist you.

I did post the troubleshooting info requested, yesterday. I'm impressed that you are not having any problems with the new update, clearly others are,. including myself. Any help would be acted upon with great thanks.

Where? You've got three posts in these forums, and they are all in this thread. You've provided no information.

with the new update

Nor are the vast majority

Edit: But I do now believe there's something weird going on. Maybe this is an issue with Anydvd; I don't know.

DVD writer trouble shooting.

I need help!

I replaced my DVD ROM, I replaced it with a LITEON DVD writer. When using Shrink, it allows me to analyze, but will not allow me to Encode. Stating that it is a copyright procection error. However, when I place the same disc in my bottom drive, which is the org burner it allows me to copy the disc. At the same time, Shrink will allow me to copy an unprotected dics in the new writer. Any idea what I did wrong? Or what may be taking place?

thanks in advance.

Are you using the latest firmware updates for your drives? If not, ensure that you are.

Also, read below:

17. Help! My (Lite-on burners) SH-16A7S sata, LITE-ON DVDRW LH-18A1H, and 20x LH-20A1H drives are not working with Anydvd and DVD Shrink/ Nero Recode. What should I do?

In Shrink's preferences, do you have "burn with nero" enabled? If so disable that option, and try again.

For Nero Recode, visit here

Thanks. Can you tell me what you did to resolve your issue please, so that I can tell others?

Disabling burn with nero worked? Updating firmware worked? Updating Anydvd worked?

Of course, I simply disabled Nero, however, this does not allow shrink to burn so it is an added step. I have NO clue as to what firmware is, and although I did google it, it came up with far too many options. If you could give me some info on this I would appreciate it as I really would rather use shrink with Nero burning and not have to move the file into yet another program.

Right. Unfortunately, you may have to do that if you have a lite-on and are using Shrink. Possibly updating firmware will help.

I have NO clue as to what firmware is, and although I did google it, it came up with far too many options.

Here's the latest firmware, 9L09, for your LH20A1S: click http://www.liteonit.com/DOWNLOADS/ODD/LH-20A1S/firmware/9L09.zip

Without you posting the Anydvd log file that I requested, I will have no idea if that firmware is an actual upgrade for you, but that's the latest anyway . . .
