Blu-ray and PS3

Hi,
I heard it is possible to rip a Blu Ry movie as an ISO.
When now I have it on the Pc, I mount it with deamon tools and use the ANYDVD HD, is this correct ?
When I then finish and like to burn it back to a R/W Blu Ray,
does the PS3 can handle R/W blue Rays, mean can it the PS3 handle BD-RE?

Mine will read the LG 25G BD-RE that came with my burner. I haven't tested anything else.
