vii. Select the region that you're in
viii. Start Anydvd

You have a bunch of packet writing junk installed on your system. Sonic's Drag-to-disc software can conflict with other programs including Slysoft's. If you want drag-to-disc functionality, use dvd-ram instead.

2.
i) Create a backup of your registry
ii) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)
iii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "DLACDBHM". Click "Remove Selected filter". Select "DRVMCDB". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Select "CDR4_XP" Click "Remove Selected Filter". Select "pwd_2k". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Select "Cdralw2k". Click "Remove Selected Filter. Click "ok".
iv) Reboot

Keep in mind the programs that installed those filters may longer work properly.

3. Click the red fox icon on your toolbar. Click "Default". Click "ok".

4. Reupload the .zip after you're finished.

By the way, that disc doesn't even appear to be protected--at all.

1) What region was this dvd released in?

2) What colour is the bottom of the disc?

Following the steps but I kinda got lost

I Follow all the steps fine until I got to 2) iii) Where it says go to tools (Where)?

The region of the dvd hasn't been set or 0 but I do believe it was released in region 1. And the color of the disc is the same as my other original DVDs.

And I appreciate your response. Thank You

Foolow the steps and rebooted !!

And here is the uploaded zip file again

Please follow these steps in the order that they are listed:

1. Click the red fox icon on your toolbar. Click "default". Click "ok".

2. Ensure that you're using Clonedvd 2.9.1.7. Please verify this.

3. Run Clonedvd. Select "Clone DVD" from the main menu to ensure that you're doing a full disc backup.

4. Then please post the Clonedvd log:

click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=476 and follow the steps but note the differences below that I would prefer you do instead:

i)Select "dvd+/-r DL" near the quality bar in Clonedvd. This avoids compression (so, the process will be faster)

ii) Select "dvd files" as the output method--and rip to your hard drive.

(thanks to Zebadee for the screenshot)

iii) You should be able to copy and paste the log text with your mouse (click in the white area shown in the screenshot).

Try

[ code ]
log text
[ /code ]

Don't put spaces in the square brackets.

iv) State the full a)error message(s) you encountered (click "details")

5. Is this the dvd? http://www.amazon.com/Hay-Derecho-Joven-Julio-Aleman/dp/B000EQ5UZA

6. Download Nero cd-dvd speed. It's a free program. Select the tab labeled "scandisc". Select the appropriate drive letter, and click "start". If Nero cd-dvd speed reports read errors, your disc is (probably) bad and needs to be exchanged--even if it plays fine (or your optical drive could be slowly dying).

That is the detail message at the end of the pop up window which says:

Creation of DVD was not succesful
invalid block start code

One or more blocks might be corrupted by
a prior copying process by the source device
covering critical read errors

Try copying the video files to your hard drive (again) and retry

Yes , That's the movie.

2. Download Nero cd-dvd speed. It's a free program. Select the tab labeled "scandisc

I did the scandisc procedure and it says that it is 100% good and I'm doing a second scan as I type

Wow, that's unexpected.

Click this

Do what it says to do.

I've sent Private Messages to some people who work for Slysoft, perhaps they will come back here and offer some more advice. Since other than resetting your busmaster driver, I'm out of suggestions at this time.

That disc appears to be unprotected.

Wow, that's unexpected.

I'm about to restart right now. Thanks for your help so far. The second scan on the disc came out the same. So let's hope this is it

Question?

Do you think that this DVD came out maybe damaged from the factory?

I can still return it and get another one. What do you think?

Have you tried to disable the A.I. scanner?
(just a guess)

1. Click this

Do what it says to do.

2. James, the developer of Anydvd believes one of the following is the problem: the disc, a cable on the back of your drive, your drive, or possibly a corrupt or conflicting driver on your system.
