Ok, here's what I do: First I put the dvd into my dvd drive
and then I open anydvd. Then after it removes the copy
protection etc. I open my dvd ripper/converter. (Lenogo dvd
to iPod.) Then I change the resolution from the default
(320x240) to 640x480 I click on "convert." then after about
5 minutes of play, the conversion loops back to the
beginning of the movie. To the part where the intro to the
movie is (if you've seen star wars you know what I'm
talking about) Why isn't anydvd taking this copy protection
off, or what ever it is. or is it a problem with something
else. this is the first problem I've ever had with anydvd.

I think it's "something else". I know that Star Wars is so unprotected I could rip it without AnyDVD, just the naked Shrink.

well...

actually star wars is protected. after about 5 minutes of play the dvd loops back to the begging and starts ripping it all over again. and if anydvd removes this protection it rips the dvd into english spanish and french. which would be ok otherwise but after it plays the movie in english for about 2 seconds it changes to spanish and replays whatever you just watched in spanish. and ditto for french. i want to rip it and convert it into .mp4. lenogo is a program that can do that in one step. And what "Shrink" are you talking about? dvdshrink?

This isn't an issue with Anydvd. It's an issue with the other program you're using.
