I put this disc into my Plextor PX-755SA and it says there is no disc inserted. I thought maybe it was a bad disc so I got another one and still the same problem. Hopefully someone can help.

1. AnyDVD HD 6.4.1.2

2. No packet writing software is installed

3. Gundam Seed: Destiny disc 11, region 1, USA, Nov. 6th 2007

4. No Disc is present in Drive D:!
PLEXTOR DVDRPX-755A 1.08 08/18/0715:10

5. No disc inserted message. I'm using CloneDVD2 2.9.1.7.

6. Clicked on "creat logfile" and nothing happens.

have you tried playing this disc to see if it works before you tried to rip it?

does anydvd scan the disc if so and you still have the problem try closing and reopening clonedvd 2 maybe that will work . i dont have this disc so i dont know for sure if theres been any problems with it

No AnyDVD does not scan the disc. When I insert the disc, the light on the drive comes on and stays on solid. After a few minutes, the light blinks on and off. The pc acts as if the drive was empty. It's wierd because I don't have a problem with disc 1-10 in the series. Maybe it's a new type of copy protection.

so you cant even play the disc on your pc at all even before trying to rip it. this either means you have a bad disc or something with your drive more then likly a bad disc i guessing

I tried a 2nd disc and have the same results. I have the latest firmware for the drive. I don't have another pc in the house with a dvd drive to test it out on. I'll bring the disc over to a friends house and try it there.

is this a regular dvd or bluray dvd?if its a bluray are you using a bluray drive?

alright im sure someone could help you better on the anydvd forum more then we can here. you should have asked this over there since this forum is for anydvd hd plus it might be a problem with clovedvd 2 you might want to search there for answers

5. Anydvd can't see or detect my original dvd-video movie disc (or my drives can read cds and not dvds or vice versa). What should I do?

a) Keep your license key file backed up safely
b) Uninstall Anydvd (start-->all programs-->Slysoft--->Anydvd-->Uninstall)
c) Reboot
d) Check to see if your system ("my computer") now reports a disc in drive. Do you see a video_ts folder (if you're using a dvd)? Do you see folders or files?

If the answer is "no" to "d)", then Anydvd isn't your problem. As Anydvd is not on your system, Anydvd can't interfere or block the reading process. Possibly your reader or burner is slowing dying, the original disc is bad, or a number of other possibilities exist as well (including messed up ide/sata busdrivers, bad cable on the back of the drive, etc.)

If the answer is "yes", click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=1559 and follow the steps (note that step 4 requires you to post information)
