MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-861H 1.50

Matshita (Panasonic oem) burners should really be avoided. They are cheap junk (which is probably why some laptop companies love these drives), die easily, and also suffer from region coding issues. Click this

3. a. State the full error message(s) you encountered (click "details"),

ok, I tried it on my sony drive, I am using the 6.4.1.2 version of anydvd and the 2.9.1.7 version of clonedvd...it will download up to 99% of the disc and then a window pops up and says that it may be a dirty disc or that I might need to update my software...I have tried it on every burner I have and will all kinds of software...sorry

You have a bad original disc even if it plays fine. You can try cleaning the disc, but chances are you need to exchange it

This isn't a protection issue since the original disc only has CSS on it (which is about as basic as protections get).
