Has anyone created a device.ini entry for the Verizon LG Voyager

LG Voyager .ini entry

I have created this profile and successfully copied a DVD to my Voyager. It plays back, but the video and audio are out of sync. Perhaps someone can review and help me figure out how to tweak the settings to make it work better. I modified it from another 3g2 profile, but I don't remember which. I basically just took a guess. Any comments or help are welcome.

[VX10000 (3g2)]
Manufacturer=LG
Res1=400x240
ResAna1=320x240
ARate=24000
ABRate=64
Format=lavf
lavfopts=format=3g2
FileType=3g2
Quality=30
NTSCFrameRate1=15
NTSCFrameRateDeinterlace1=15
lavcopts=aglobal=1:vglobal=1:vcodec=mpeg4:acodec=libfaac
MVolume=10
useMencoder=1
SubTitle=1
MaxVBitrate=270

Use the code tags to avoid unwanted spaces creeping in when the post is displayed (e.g. acodec=l ibfaac in your post above will not work if someone uses cut and paste on it).

Correct verion of above profile:
Code:
[VX10000 (3g2)]
Manufacturer=LG
Res1=400x240
ResAna1=320x240
ARate=24000
ABRate=64
Format=lavf
lavfopts=format=3g2
FileType=3g2
Quality=30
NTSCFrameRate1=15
NTSCFrameRateDeinterlace1=15
lavcopts=aglobal=1:vglobal=1:vcodec=mpeg4:acodec=libfaac
MVolume=10
useMencoder=1
SubTitle=1
MaxVBitrate=270
This can be cut and pasted.

If your profile works you might want to add it to the sticky at the top of this forum.

If it works post it in the sticky at the top of the forum (device profile mods). :)

profcolli, thanks for the tip about the Code tag. Will do in the future.

rorabbm, I am testing your new profile on a full DVD. I'll let you know how it works. Thanks for the feedback.

Not quite there yet...

I used this profile on a DVD, transferring just the main movie. I copied it to my microSD card and played it back on the Voyager. The opening scene works well, but over time the audio and video slowly walk out of sync. Eventually, about 20-23 minutes in, the video starts getting really choppy and then the audio and video are no longer even close to each other. I tried pausing and playing, but then the audio disappeared completely.

The file appears to play back correctly on the PC using Quicktime, so there must be something that the phone's processor can't keep up with.

I tested this and it seemed to work for one chapter from two DVD's.

[VX10000 (3g2)testing-3]

ScreenRatio=16:9

I will keep trying

I broke the DVD into chapters so i did not see the sync problem after a period of time. I will try something else.
